Schengen vignette Valid for : Territorial validity of the visa.


If "  STATES SCHENGEN  " is affixed, this visa entitles you to enter the Schengen area, Initials of the countries of destination.

in the case of a territorial restriction:
the initial of the Schengen States for which the visa is valid: A (Austria), B (Belgium),
CH (Switzerland), CZE (Czech Republic), D (Germany), DK (Denmark), E (Spain), EST (Estonia), F (France), FIN (Finland), GR (Greece), H (Hungary), I (Italy), IS (Iceland), LI (Liechtenstein), L (Luxembourg), LT (Lithuania), LVA (Latvia), M (Malta), N (Norway), NL (Netherlands), P (Portugal), PL (Poland), S (Sweden), SK (Slovakia), SVN (Slovenia).

either the words 'Schengen States ' followed in parentheses by the minus sign and the codes of the Member States for which the visa is not valid: ''Schengen States (-D, S)'' 

Type of visa:

either " A ":
airport transit visa (this visa does not allow you to leave the "international" or "bonded" zone of the airport)

"  C  ":
short stay visa (length of stay less than 90 days)

either "  D  ":
long stay visa (length of stay in France longer than 3 months)

Number of entries
either "  MULT  ", which means you can enter an unlimited number of times in the Schengen area

either "  1  ", which means you can only enter the Schengen area once
either "  2  ", which means you can enter the Schengen area twice

Length of stay This is the number of days you are allowed to stay in the Schengen area (in accordance with the length of time your visa is used).

If the consulate has issued you with a circulation visa (use period of one year or more), the number indicated is "90 days", because you are allowed to stay for a maximum of 90 days in a 6-month period.
